Breed was founded by Maurice Adams and Damage Karlsen. Damage and Maurice played in Sundog together and after the demise of that band, split ways. They found back together after Damage had continuously mailed Maurice his demos for months. They took the tapes to Espen P and jammed it out. After that intense jam session they knew they had something solid and Breed became a fact.
The making of the album saw the band spending countless days in the caravan Damage lived in situated right outside the studio, the loss of a leg (good one Maurice) the loss of a bass player and gallons of substance. Once done with the album they all moved to Oslo. Trying out several bass players they finally got Mads to pound for them making Mads an essential part of Breed.
Breed was picked up by Face front who released their first album. The album was recorded in Caliban studios (N) and mixed in Fredman studios (S). Even though the band kept on getting hit with great reviews, the band suffered the loss of a drummer but never stopped for a second. Breed is currently on the lookout for a new drummer. In the meantime Erlend from Stonegard fills the spot.
